The City of Melbourne briefed us to turn the city into a summer Christmas wonderland full of romance and visual splendor.
We wanted to encourage new visitors to explore the city and give current residents a new perspective on their old surroundings.
Our campaign, developed in collaboration with the City of Melbourne, paid homage to traditional Christmas stories and carols, using colour, fun and elements of kitsch.
From a forest in the City Square to a giant bow around the town hall, our decorations blanketed the city. We hid games for children in unexpected places and designed over 50 decorations across several unique locations in the city.
It’s been a dream project for us. How often do you get asked to decorate your city for Christmas?
